I want to some sort of forced induction on my 08 Vibe. Wether it be a turbo/supercharger. How much boost can the stock 1zz handle before it becomes dangerous? Or does anybody have any other reccomendations/advice on what i should do first before putting any kind of forced induction? 2zz swap maybe?

Several of the Corolla guys have supercharged their cars, with either the factory supercharger with the 1ZZ or an aftermarket supercharger on the 2ZZ. A few have put a turbo on their 2ZZ and 1ZZ, but Kiethvibe here on Genvibe has put a Turbo AWD, and a few members have superchargers, such as Bluecrush. Someone from Matrix Owners has twincharged their 1ZZ automatic Matrix (factory supercharger AND a turbo). You already have the 5-spd, which can take more than the automatic. You can put a TRD SC on you car but it will need a throttle body adapter. Also you'll need a piggyback ECU and a Custom tune.
