TRD SC ECU Problem

Post by Salsa Guy »

This post started in engine issues but not it appears to have something to with the TRD ECU or Wiring harness here's the thread if you want to read more http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=43781For S&Gs I plugged my new TRD ECU for M/T in the harness. It also caused my lights to flicker and engine to miss. So now I'm looking at the TRD ECU Plug in adapter and wiring harness from my issue. Spending Several hours tracking down the connections between the ECU and TRD ECU I've come up with a pin-out between the 2. This is looking at TRD ECU adapter (PN# 00602-17620-135, RCON 1803 1.0, DOC# 17620-178) where the Engine and TRD wiring harness are connected. Also contrary to someone else's statement the TRD ECU does NOT change the Air Temp measurement. It does change the the MAF and Oxygen Sensor measurements and of course Ignition timing

FYI, I got the car back on the road with the TRD AT ECU. I've gone through the wiring harness at the ECU and found a few wires that maybe "suspect". Hopefully this will allow me to get the Catback done and turn it over to a local "tuner" and get the Greddy EMU in. I hope the TRD ECU pinout helps some people down the line.
