GReddy XRS 2zz supercharger

Post by kevera »

Helped my buddy Evilthorne install the GReddy s/c on Saturday. It's a kit for the celica, but we made a few modifications,so it will fit the XRS,GT.I wasn't there for the final stages, but was there for the the initial install work. But from their phone call, sounds like a beast and judging by the power increase.I may be selling my Vibe and getting an XRS and doing the same soon. So,if any GT owners want a huge increase in power this is a way to go.http://matrixowners.com/?showtopic=75631&st=60

I made a custom overflow for him.Copier parts FTW.With a good tune, you could push 240hp to the wheels.

We tried a dremel, that plastic is just too thick. We drilled it and then used a circular saw I said the same to Rick,my hands were filthy.

It wasn't my house, and we were using Rick's tools. The dremel he had sucked big time, wouldn't cut the plastic. The circular saw worked real good.

man. that's a lot of work. what kind of ECM is he running for that? Greddy?? or Unichip or something similar? I would think he'd want a custom tune for that kind of project.
