I just installed one this last weekend in my 05 base auto.The writeup on 9thgencorolla is excellent. You do need the adapter plate (~$176 shipped). I went with the e-manage blue for 5th injector management. Also get the boomslang harness, its roughly $300 but you don't have to worry about getting it wrong.The only hang ups i had:Could not find a place to mount the support bar.The dip stick goes 3/4 inch to the front and right of the stud, not in front of the stud.OBX crank pulley had to be swapped back out for stock, belt doesn't fit with aftermarket pulleys.5th injector wiring. I used the default wiring from the kit instead of buying a Bosch plug off of ebay. No other part of the ECU kit is used.If using e-manage blue, set jumper #2 to closed from open if your car wont start.Set jumpers 5 and 6 to closed from open. This is required for using e-manage to run your 5th injector.You will need to wire up your 5th injector. Here is a pic:
