well to start the GT has a different engine (2ZZ instead of the base 1zz). the compression ratio is much higher on the GT and that along with the lift is an extra hurdle for making a supercharger work right on the 2ZZ engine. I believe Greddy has developed a supercharger for the Celica 2ZZ and people have been asking how/if/when it could work on the Vibe.
a xrs owner purchased a greddy i dont believe its installed yet
look my sniggies, i had a strizz-oke in my brizz-ain okay, you know what im saying. so i cant move all good. but thanks for mentioning that .thank you very much.athf4evr. click here! you know you want to!!!
The reason is that the intake ports just do not line up with the s/c.If you can get someone to make a flange that would bridge them together. You'd be making a lot of money with Vibe GT's, Celica GT-s, Corolla XRS's, and Matrix XRS people.

The new corolla in the UK has a new 2zz with supercharger, but that doesnt help for current 2zz engines.... :/I did hear of a 2zz SC though, ill try to find it.EDIT: its not official for the vibe GT or matrix XRS but greddy has made a 2zz (celica) superchargerCELICA GTS 2003-on(MP62 cast manif. w/ ultimate & 440cc) P/N: 11511504 $3,895.00its listed on their site.
Also XRS 06 as already bought is Turbo for an XRS. He has probably not received it yet. But we'll know when it's done. We'll have a meet in Montreal with lots of pics of it.
