Turbocharge questions..

Post by tangerine »

1) Those of you who have turbocharges, where can I buy them, or are they all custom made? I'v done a few searches and havent seen any but i hear a few of you have them, 2)Would Turbocharging a base/automatic be a waste?

As of RIGHT NOW, THE only TURBO KIT FOR THE vIBE IS FROM C2http://www.c2power.com/product...turbo , But it's pretty expensive. $4400.ATR Import motor sports http://atrimportmotorsports.com/celica.htmwill be developing a turbo kit for us in about 4 weeks after they complete the Celica kits. Should be just a matter of piping and tuning the 'puter, the manifolds are just about complete. For only $2500!

Stafford may still be making turbo kits for Vibes but the wait is over 5 month's. He's been having some money problems this year. I still think his kit is the best and I'd love to have his kit in my car. But I'm not waiting that long for boost.

Thanks guys, I'll do some research on the ones you posted for me and pick on and try and get one this summer. I'v got teh money now but i have to have hand surgery tomarrow so I'll have to wait. This car is my baby and I like to participate in any installations done to it to see that nothing is messed up and for a bit of learning. :D
