Sirius XM Location?

I have a 2009 AWD and I am going to replace the head unit and Sirius XM unit. I have searched a ton of forums trying to find out where the satellite unit is located. I wanted to use the stock satellite antenna. I have removed the glove box and looked behind there for the satellite unit and do not see it there. So is it back in the hatch or behind the stock radio? I do not care about OnStar but I am assuming Onstar uses same antenna?

Car has the plain stock stereo with no amp and no sub. I already replace the stock paper speakers with Infinity 6.5 all around.

It's hidden between the passenger taillight and the rear wheel, just below the bottom of the window.
