2005 Vibe Moon & Tunes Audio Issue

Greetings,

I'm trying to debug an issue with my audio system and hoping someone has some insight. I installed a JVC aftermarket radio a few years ago and everything was working perfectly. Due to another issue (air conditioning not working), I ended up cranking the volume up pretty loud for a few minutes as I was travelling down the highway. The next day, I noticed the audio sounded awful. Very tinny (if that's a word) almost like an old AM radio, volume could not go very high even on max, midtones and voices are very quiet, but normal and loud bass. I'm thinking an issue with either the HU or the amp, but I'm perplexed by the normal bass. All speakers are exhibiting the same quality.

Any thoughts?
