not really. The moon roof only has one motor. When the glass is closed and you hit the tilt open button, the motor spins in one direction. When it's tilted open and you hit tilt closed, the motor spins the other way. When its closed and you hit the slide open button, the motor should spin the same was as tilt closed, slide closed turns the motor the same direction as tilt open. Since you can spin the motor one way when it tilts open, the other way when it tilts closed, I'd deduce that the motor is ok,
If its not something mechanical, then maybe it is the switch/light control, but I'm hesitant to assume that only because nobody here has ever had one fail before. It has been a while since i looked at that switch/light control ( for
viewtopic.php?t=7209" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ). I'll see if I can dig into it and figure out some way to test the thing. Not sure when I can get to it though, so if anyone else here has any ideas, please chime in. Hopefully we can figure it out without anyone having to drop the headliner
