GF Performance Chip? Hype, or Real?

OK, It's an ad on the top of the page here in Genvibe, but is it real? Can I realize a gain in mpg, and hp with a simple 15 minute upgrade?

Total waste of money. I wish genvibe would ban those ads for the GF chip.
