IMO they are the best subs to ever! what do you think about them, and what are your favorite subs?

i actually love 10 inch subs they are perfect in every way, they are loud and quiet at the same time and small as well, any way the JL subs are the best in my opinion.

W7's are known for the surround dry rotting.. lol.. They are very inefficient.. (require big power) and are expensive as hedoublehockysticks.. There are other woofers on the market that sound better, are cheaper and perform about that same.. JL is a LOT of hype.. sorry to say.. there once was a day when they ruled the lanes at sound comps... not so much anymore... I'd pick a Alpine type-x over a w7.. Well, I wouldn't pick either, but those are the two companies you mentioned.. Check out Digital Designs.. lol.. they can SLAM and sound good doing it.. it's just you would have 40 different options with DD, so beware.. lol..

yeah im in for as loud as possible without going for anything bigger than 18 inches. I love JL and Alpine they are my favorites, among a few other ones, i havent heard much about DD, but i would assume they are good becasue of your extensive knowledge in the field (not being sarcastic).

FI, ED, Adire, and RE all make excellent subs. I love my old infinity kappa 124.7, it's a nice accurate sub for 20 bucks picked up off craigslist.

I have a FI SSD and love it. It sounds great and, at 800 watts rms, it's plenty for a little hatchback.
