Got it the other day but didn't have a chance to get it installed with the whole tire thing going on.Well, I got my scan gauge II.It has just the right length cable to mount it above the rear view mirror.

could you be a bit more specific in how you mounted it up there and ran the cable?I have a SC as well and thought of putting it in the same location.

I simply used the supplied velcro. I also have the mirror supporting it up against the headliner... the velcro is on the top of the unit stuck to the headliner.I took off the "a" pillar cover and took off the driver side sun screen/visor and slimply stuck the wire up inside the headliner and down the "a" pillar down to the obII plug in. Took me all of about 5 mins to install it.Now I just need to get the display to read out in Red. Dame that means I need to read the instructions.

Looks good, Keith. I just installed mine as well on my steering column between the steering wheel and the speedo. Perfect fit and easy to see. It's nice to be able to see the mpg at any given time. It will definitely help save gas by me trying to keep the # as high as possible.

I've had mine up to 325 MPG coasting downhill @ about 65 :-) I have mine velcroed atop the steering wheel plastic housing, just a little hard to hit the trip reset button on the dash.......
