Moon+Toons: white noise after ignition off

Post by VibeInTx »

I just noticed that after turning off my ignition with the stereo on, the stereo emits a white noise for at least 5 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this? I have the moon and toons with the 6 CD changer, and theory is that the amp still has enough juice to power the speakers for a few seconds after it loses the audio signal from the head unit.

Yup, I just got my Vibe and noticed the same noise. It is annoying, but I can live with it.

What your describing sounds like the amp for the sterreo is draining the power built up in it when the radio or ignition is turned off. This is normal and wont hurt anything.
