How does the GPS work

Post by pimpingnu »

I want to get the DVD nav system. Does it come with all the required DVD's needed to run it across the country? since it should contain the DVD codecs, would you be able to hook up an aftermarket roof mounted LCD screen and play DVD's? thanx
- Andrew Schmidt I ordered a base shadow 2 tone vibe with power, DVD nav system, bumper proteter, automatic, floor mats, snowboard rack, the black interior, the gt badges to stick on(he he he), car alarm system, ABS, side impact airbags, the "B" rims from the VIBE brochure, and i am looking at tints now. This ordering process neeeeeds to speed up

The DVD navigation does not play normal DVD's. It is only a dvd-rom reader. The reason why they opted for the DVD is because DVD's have enough capacity to cover the entire country, so you don't have to switch discs while you're driving. There is no way for you playback DVD videos from the unit.
