I stopped by a local reputable stereo shop that also sells and installs
remote starters. The price for the
remote starter and install is $200.00. Then the guy tells me that I'll have to have something that will bypass it, but I don't think that my has to have one; it does NOT have the security system and there are not any type of security lights that light up when starting the car. I told the dude this but he insisted it has to have it. I'm not 100% sure, but want to find out before I dish out $70.00 for the bypass. Does the pricing sound okay, or is it overcharged? I have no idea when it comes to these types of things. The
remote start brand is an AutoPage RS-60
http://www.autopageusa.com/t_i...c27ec Its strictly just a one button
remote start, no alarm or any other keyfob functions. Thanks!
