Had the clutch replaced last month. 116k miles, car had 86k when I bought it. Bought the exedy OEM kit off of amazon ($100) and had a local mechanic install it for $450. Pays to shop around, quotes from $1200 to $450 (my parts). Just not up to doing it myself. I am an old grandpa, who drives like an old grandma, and I just could not see the need for the heavier duty clutches. The old clutch still had the wear bars on the plate, but was slipping bad on hills and such when in 5th and 6th gear. I had them replace the rear main seal while they were in there. So far so good. Really enjoy the little car.
That's a good deal for the install, considering how long it takes. I assume he had a lift and trans jack to make it easier. it took me about 8 or 9 hours on mine, but I had a few issues with the axles on the install.
Good luck and hope it lasts a good long time!

Thanks trb and TGSnellg. That clutch looks good and really affordable. I'm still trying to figure out if it's my clutch or the fork/bearing which needs replacing. Fortunately for now I'm close enough to walk to work until I can pull this thing.
