2003 Vibe GT Wiper Issue

Got an issue with my otherwise flawless 2003 Vibe GT and I was hoping that someone else had this issue and corrected it before I dive into this head first.

My front wipers like to turn themselves on at times, and stay on. The only ways to turn them off or stop them are to remove the wiper fuse or hold the wiper switch in just the right position so that they stop moving outright.

I'm thinking it's either the switch, or the homing switch in the wiper motor itself.

Some help would be nice, I'm not too keen on driving blind.
