Repair wheel well

Post by bull77 »

I have a large hole in my driver side wheel well from a rock that I'd like to fix before the snow starts. What are my options? I've tried tape but it falls off once it gets wet.

Is there soft plastic panels that I can glue in place or will a thin piece of sheet metal work better with rivets?

I ran across this site which has a replacement part -- seems cheap which seems fishy :?

That is cheap, but then I've seen them on ebay for about $35 shipped, so that is probably about right plus shipping. They are aftermarket parts, but I've read about a few others on here that have used them. They go for about $60 new from the online GM dealers.
