The single-sided design will be cheaper than the two-sided also.

Design #5 on the back with genvibe.com in that new font on the front left breast ...That would be the *perfect* shirt for me Then again, I don't like big designs on the front of the shirts I wear, so I will withhold my vote for the time being... as I won't likely buy one as is right now

I like the front and back but I prefer centered logos over "pocket logos." Now putting the new genvibe.com logo in a larger font across the center of the front would be fine with me...

That would be me joatmon! hehehe. Thanks to those who liked my design enough to vote for it. I am sure if joatmon, silverawd, or millster had submitted a design, we would be looking at a different winner! Congratulations goes out to whoever did entry #3 for the second place prize. btw...who are you? LOL I like the fact that all designs showing the car represent a universal design, so we can all enjoy it (ie. color & options designed appeal to owners of different color and options). Generally, its too bad that each of us entrants are not real good at computer graphics though! ( I can really appreciate the time and effort that you all put in to this...well done everyone! Here is my own take of the submissions. entry 1 - good viberations rather cool. I would like to see the back as small left front breast picture, and the front image on the back. The rather angular shading shown contradicts to the smooth lines of the actual car though. entry 2 - loveme/not Best in terms of originality. My macho guy self isn't too keen on having a big colorful flower on my shirt, though! lol entry 3 - black and yellow Nice clean design! front would look better again as a smaller left breast picture. I would like to see the back picture showing the front view of the car to see more detail entry 4 - got vibe? Good use of humor, and a simple design...love it! Seems similiar to the entry 1 in style and flavour. The lines are a little wobbly though. I would like to replace the "drawn-on-a-napkin" with something a little more clean and professional looking. entry 6 - black w. red stripe front logo doesnt match existing logo on sleeve, although its a good idea putting one there. Well thought out design in terms of designing the shirt as a whole. entry 7 - black w. red circleGood clean, appealing, professional looking design! I see a pontiac logo though! Perhaps some pure black lines for the car, or at least black for the main countour lines would make it stand out more, as i find the car to be "washed out" entry 8 - 18 to 80 Nice bright colors, but, no offense, the car looks like an inflatible vibe to me! As cute as that is, (the actual car is rather cute in reality) i wonder if people would come up to me asking if my kid drew that or not! lol! entry 5 (mine) - instrument panel my halftoning dots are bigger than i wanted, but i thought the tshirt making process could not handle too small a dot. Finer detail DOES work better This would work well as left front breast image too, if the lettering was ALOT bigger. My original design had a two tone effect in the "vibe" text as well. It somehow got lost in the .GIF conversion process. I hope that this gets translated into the printing press design.I do intend to listen to you guys, and make the text a bit larger, so you can read it. Also want to show you what the 2-tone "vibe" text would look like. Depending on what Mike thinks, I will try to put up a link with a bigger version of the picture, and you can all put in your 2cents worth! Then, hopefully, when mike gets back from SEMA, he will already have a finer tuned version waiting for him

hey, one thing i'm kinda disappointed in was that the rules state that no pictures are allowed and that only 'line art' was to be used. not downing any of the designs, but the gauge cluster...wasn't that a picture? just a little photoshopped. my understanding of line art was that it was handdrawn and/or a vector image. if i knew i could use photos like that i would have definitely taken it to another level. but oh well. congrats to the victors! your shirts are

hey ev1, as i said....here are BIG versions of my entry ( i hope this works, i never made a link before!!).....dig into it, and let me know what sucks, so that we can get something ev1 likes. I made the text bigger, made the "vibe" text vibe a 2-color halftone pattern http://members.shaw.ca/robmasson/vibe-version1.jpg On this one i used a much tighter halftone pattern, better?http://members.shaw.ca/robmasson/vibe-version2.jpgabout the rules saying no pictures, i am sorry suds about what happened. a picture, as i understand, has millions of colors, and doesnt really have sharp edges, but rather smooth, natural blend between objects, thats all. technically, line art, would be an Illustrator, corel, or autocad file only. I interpreted the "no photos" rule to mean just that, dont take a picture, scan it, and send it in. As long as it is "art" and not "photography", it should be fine. Its all in the interpretation guess. Your design was good tho! dont feel bad

I do like the second one better, but is it possible to remove some of the pixelation from the image of the car? I like the car image better in that one, too, it shows a bit more detail, but seems like you're looking at it through a screen or something.Great job MrDoopey. BTW--yours is the one I voted for as well, even though I really liked some of the others too.And I'm not positively sure on this, but isn't the Vibe logo a GM trademark? Also, they may own the exclusive rights to the car's overall image as well. Will this cause problems? And who gets the proceeds from the sale of the shirts? I vote that we donate it to GM for them to research and develop real performace parts for the whole Vibe model line.
