A 80-year old friend has an 07 Vibe, & she recently called me, asking about an issue she was having with her Vibe locking/unlocking by itself. (I have an 04 Vibe, so I am, apparently, an expert.) The car was locking/unlocking intermittently, even though her key fob was in her hand, & she wasn’t pressing anything. It didn’t matter whether the vehicle was in park or in gear, as soon as she got in the garage, it started locking & unlocking by itself. It was, however, intermittent. Sometimes, nothing happened. Other times, it went nuts. I was about to post the issue on GenVibe to solicit advice, when she called back. Turns out her 81-year old husband, who is diabetic & has no feeling in his feet or toes, dropped his key fob to the Vibe in his slippers. As he was walking around the house, he was pressing on the various fob buttons with his toes, causing the Vibe to lock/unlock intermittently.I almost fell off my chair laughing when she told me.
