Used new rims ..

Post by metaxa44 »

Hello,
I just find a set of rims and wonder if it would work on my 2009 base Vibe..
Rim size is 16" 5x100 bolt pattern ,but the offset is 53mm Vibe take 39-40mm)
Tire size is 215 /55/16...
Would this touch , rub te fenders??
I know my speed reading will change a little ...

Thanks

If your Vibe has the 1.8l engine, they should fit no problem. On the 03-08 Vibes, if you have a 215 width it's usually 50, ex, 215/50. This makes my speedometer perfectly accurate. Try this tool I found:

I may be used to staring at my low-pro rubber bands for 6 years,
but that looks like a lotta rubber for those wheels.
I think a smaller profile tire would look great.

No need to worry about whether the wheels match your car tho.
I think they look pretty cool. Is there a red pinstripe around the lip?
( if not, that'd set it off and make it match perfectly)
