Quote, originally posted by vibe-04 »Welcome aboard!!!What colour did you pick and what made you decide on the Vibe?AndrewI bought it in Abyss.. and if I ever get a Solstice, it'll be black as well .I looked at the Caliber, and well... it didn't live up to my expectations. Even though the Caliber was $2K less, it was NO where near as good as the Vibe.. The Vibe styling was more pleasing to me than the Matrix, cuz the roof racks and skirts give it a sporty SUV appearance. I didn't look at the Honda Fit or Mazda 3... The Vibe is incredibly versatile, moreso than the Caliber. I didn't like that the Caliber rear gate doesn't have an opening glass hatch, nor did I like the useless cargo area. The seats didn't fold completely flat in the Caliber, and the seat backs are not plastic like the Vibe, which helps the load floor. The Vibe has AMAZING storage nooks all around, some hidden, and some not so. The Caliber.. well, they need to improve on that (look under the cargo area of the Caliber, not very nice, specifically the spare tire area... the Vibe wins in this dept.)The only thing I don't like about the Vibe is the cargo cover.. and I'm gonna do something about it.Otherwise, I'm super happy... great car overall..But honestly, I would have ALSO really loved to buy a Scion xB (there are a few kicking around in Canada..)Also, the Vibe was the RIGHT price.. cheaper than the Matrix. 0% financing with $0 down, 20 cents off per litre at Petro, lots of other incentives, oh yes.. it made financial sense. But the Scion xB would have been more my style, but a black Vibe... shall do me just fine. The A/C is a little weak, but, it'll be fine. Thanks for the support..

Nice...i didn't think that they still have 0% financing right now. Is that for 36 months?Congrats on the new car. Post some pics as you start modding it.

Congrats! Welcome to GenVibe! As for the weak A/C you can insulate the A/C lines in the engine bay. Do a search here on GenVibe and you'll find which ones to wrap.

yep..it's 0% financing for 36 months on most of the GM lineup, and I was able to stack on a few extra GM incentives ...What a deal!!!!!!!!!
