Good price for Mobil 1

Starting this Saturday, Canadian Tire has the litre bottle of MOBIL 1 5W-30 and 10W-30 for $6.79 (Cdn). As well there is an instant win contest with a '05 Vette as the grand prize.

Don't they have it on sale this week at Cnd Tire for a 4.4L @ $28?

Is the sale carrying into next week? I'll be back in Ontario next week to get my car and an oil change is one of the things I have to do before driving it back up here to Alaska and I use Mobil 1 synthetic in my Vibe.

The $28 for 4.4 L was from last week's flyer (May 7th to May 13th). This weeks flyer (May 14 to May 20th) has the $6.79 for 1 L. Both flyers say "Sorry, no rainchecks".

I'll have to pick some up when I get off the plane on monday. I already got 1litre in the car so only need to buy 3 more. Well I'd like to get a jug and keep the 1 litre as a spare. Sure am looking forward to paying tax on everything again... NOT.

Well I went to Canadian Tire but all they had was a 4.4litre jug so I bought 4-1litre bottles which actually cost less then the "sale" price of the 4.4litre jugs. Since I had a full 1 litre bottle in the car already, only needed 4 litres to do the oil change.But now I need another oil change since well... 7000km in the last week.
