Factory Splash Guards questions.....

Post by 455SD »

Anybody using the factory guards on a two-tone '03 Vibe?If so, are you happy with how they fit/look, and do they do a good job without hanging too low to the ground? When looking through the parts # listing - it shows the part #'s I am looking at buying, but I don't understand the "only if no RKR EXT" part. Can someone explain what this means and how to identify?12498056, Splash Guards, Molded Front Set - ALL YEARS MONO, 2003 2TONE ONLY IF NO RKR EXT12498057, Splash Guards, Molded Rear SetThanks!

this is a pic from when i just picked up my latest Vibe. No clue as to what the part numbers are supposed to be but they look good and work well on the 2 tone for me at least.

the if no RKR EXT means if no rocker panel extension. the extra side skirt option. which i think looks horrible if they were on mine.

Yes, I think that's what it means. I got to looking at the base w/monotone cars, and they have that extra rocker trim, which would change the shape of the S/G. Thanks!
