Evap Problems

Post by HPilot »

On my 2010 Vibe, 2.4 li, Fwd the vsc, service engine, and anti skid lights flash
Garage says it is an Evap problem.
The solenoid on the canister checks out. Opens and closes with 9volt battery.
After disconnecting the car battery, alarms cancel out, but come back in a few days.
Possible small leak?
How do I further diagnose?

Need the codes that are triggering the check engine light (CEL). VSC and traction control disable when CEL is on.

I believe the code was P0133, or P01133.
The GM dealer had to really look o find the code and it
Basically comes back as Evap leak.

Here is a link on this board about the PO133 code:

I think your communication got mixed up somewhere. What your talking about and that code do not really go together.

Jolt
The code is P043e an orifice low flow leak.
Does this point to one of the valves or is it one of the hoses leaking?
