Exaust donuts

Post by oldelpaseo »

Hello

Just doin a tuneup before the cold season. The donut gaskets between the manifold and cat is leaking and the one between the resonator and muffler too.

The oem ones are pretty expwnsive for 2 little metal rings (38$ and 42$ for pontiac, and 48$ and 52$ for toyota). I was gonna buy aftermarket but the guy gave me what looked like crushed wirebrush leftovers. I not sure those would last long.

I looked online and saw many makes (bosal,felpro,walker...) and they are much cheapen than oem. Anybody know wich is the best aftermarket and will they last long ?
I know its inexpensive parts. But i hate paying extra for nothing.
Thanks

i always spend the $ and get the GM one (as its cheaper)

its a skuzzy job, so i prefer to do it right, once
