Timing cover leak

Post by garrettpen »

Hi guys! I have an 09 2.4 with about 150,000 miles on it. It has an oil leak in the front cover, it's hard to tell where it is coming from because it's getting slung everywhere. I tried looking up a timing cover set but it looks like there are no gaskets just a crank seal is this correct? If so is it possible to remove just the seal and not the cover with like say a self tapping screw? Thanks for the help!

The cover will use a silicone gasket.
