Building ideas for intake induction box

I recently installed a SRI on my 06 Base Vibe and am looking to build an air induction box around with with a tube leading from around the bottom of the car or so. I could use some good ideas for materials if anyone has any or if anyone has done this any ideas from that.

Have you considered pulling air from the fender or from behind the headlight? You would have to relocate the battery for the headlight suggestion.

I have considered it, I am most likely going to the fender but looking for material ideas and building ideas for shape and placement.
