My CV joint came apart when I was removing the trans

Post by trb »

so I'm assuming I can just add some grease and put it back together? I couldn't get the end out of the trans while it was in the car, but eventually got the trans out.

Thanks!

As long as the boot didn't tear you can just put it back together. You will need to tighten the band once you're all done.

Thanks. I kinda thought so, since it came apart so easily. The boot looks fine so I should be good.
