Oil leak?

Post by THE VIBERATOR »

I took the car to the shop yesterday and guess what they found, an oil leak coming from the rear main seal, so I guess I've had that for quite a while. Since they rebuilt the engine. They never resealed that part and they should have. It ripped when they took the engine apart. I'm surprised. Maybe they just overlooked it? But I'd expect them to have that as the number one priority when they take apart an engine. Reseal it. If they didnt find that, I would have had to get ANOTHER new engine eventually. Which would have sucked. Thank God for the creation of eyes. After driving it today, I noticed the small vibration I got inside the cabin is gone, meaning the engine is completely sealed. It rides much smoother since they balanced my new tires. I'm back in action!
