There will not be a production model with a 6. If it exists, it was a custom project.

I can't even imagine how bad the torque steer would be with a V6's power in our Vibe. It's rediculous how bad it is with just a measely 130 lbs of torque or so as it is.

that would be crazy awesome i was thinking of doing that but using a GTP engine or even the Grand AM GT engine think if you make some changes to the frame and things like that its possible and of corse to the fire wall so i think that would be an awesome project to do or just keep your eyes on see how hard it really is

A v6 would be a lot heavier so I would think that torque steer wouldn't be much of an issue.

Get a nice LSD and some decent steering control and I think you could minimize Tsteer. It would be hella fun though... even a tiny v-6 like a 2.3 or 2.5L would send the little cross-over into orbit (along with your tranny... )

A while back I read a thread (on another forum) about a guy putting a 3.4L from a Grand Am, and a 6speed manual from a Celica GTS in to an MR2. I think he abandoned the project after figuring out he needed a custom Flex/Clutch/bell-mouth in order to mate the two together. So Just something to keep in mind
