I just bought a 2009 AWD and...

I am in love! But I have a couple questions... My 2005 is a base model (and, yes, I have kept it because it has almost 204k on it, and I love it) so it was only FWD. My AWD feels "washy" in the back and bouncy over the frost heaves in the road, so I wonder if I should have the sway bars and struts looked at? Or if that is kind of standard in an AWD vehicle in general? Mind you, I just drove it off the used car lot yesterday, so I may not be used to the AWD if that is indeed the way it reacts.

It's probably worth having them looked at depending on the mileage. I don't think I've really noticed a big difference in ride between our FWD and AWD Vibes.

As zbyers said, you should have it inspected and checked out. Depending on the mileage and the area of the country the car came from, it could be a number of different things making it feel like that.
