Vibe Fastener package

Post by KingKrab65 »

I am not sure if this is a good deal or not for fasteners for the Vibe. It is getting harder to find quality fasteners at the junkyard now especially for the first gen. What does everyone think?

I didn't realize there are so many size variations for just one car. I thought those black fasteners were all the same size

If you plan on wrenching on cars (Vibe & others) for several years & then some, then this assortment kit would be worth the few $$$. Plus you could then order the EXACT fastener once you know the correct size/fit and you'll already have the pry tool!

I don't have any push pins on any of my Vibes that I've found. Door panels, wheel well trim, inner fenders, rear hatch, splash guards are simple clips.

Doors, wheel well trim and rear hatch panel are all these guys: https://www.amazon.com/Lantee-Retainer- ... lips&psc=1

For the splash guards and fender liners I've found the "universal body panel" clips from Auto Zone fit about 90% of the holes. I don't have the exact part number or diameter handy, but they're cheep.
