Just picked up an 06

Post by Johnnyjet »

Got an 06 with 90000 miles for $1500. Automatic n that’s it. Great commuter car so far.

Let me be the first to welcome you to GenVibe.

Congrats on the new ride, $1500 for an 06 with 90k is a steal. If the interior and exterior are clean and it runs good it should easily be worth double that, if not triple.

I recently paid $4500 for a single owner 05 with 101k and Moon n Tunes and I don't regret it at all, it's a sweet car.

Took me 14 hours to clean the car, it was so filthy I took the seats out to clean them. But the engine ran great. It’s been hit in the rear but fixed. Tailgate was replaced , guy selling the car didn’t know it was a Toyota I guess. So far so good.

Welcome, Johnnyjet!
14 hours of cleaning, I'd like to see before and after pictures. I've done some intensive cleaning with carpet out of the car myself. Click on the link in my signature. And I have done it again with my son's Hyundai Sonata. The effort was well worth it.
If the previous owner took care of the fluid changes you'll be fine for sure. Even if he missed doing the tranny fluid your tranny is likely to soldier on.

Welcome to GenVibe JJ ;) Despite the extra work you endured cleaning up this Vibe, you got it for an excellent price. It will not let you down. Post pics and location when you get around to it!
