New to me 2007 Vibe

Post by flyingfrog509 »

Just picked up 2007 Vibe for my son who needed something other than a hoop-die four colored car. He is so excited because this will fit his lifestyle of fishing, hunting, & shooting sports. Couldn't / wouldn't afford a Rav4 or the such so it was a Matrix or a Vibe. Look forward to posting some of the odd mods we will make to it so it can carry a kayak or canoe for fishing. As dad and helper mechanic I love the 1.8 toyota drive line.

Couple of odd factory options we hadn't seen before include the black mat on the top side of the rear bumper, the exhaust tip, & the wing. Bought it off the original owner and he told us the story of getting that wing ordered and installed. Guess they had stopped offering it by the time he bought this one but got the parts guy to track down the last two in inventory in the whole country and had one installed.

Now we just have to figure out how to sell some snow tires that came with it that are like brand new since we don't need them down here in Georgia.

Well apparently I'm to stupid to get pictures to load right now, so I'll try later. (or you can look at the ebay listing http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-Pontiac-Vi ... 2276536191 for now)

Welcome to Genvibe. It looks very nice. The wheels are much better than the steel ones with caps. The top spoiler is a nice option too.

Welcome to GenVibe. Your an awesome parent ;) Lots of us with driving age kids have found Vibe's for them to drive as their first cars. My son is no exception and is still driving his 2009 Vibe GT after 6+ years of ownership! Great reliable and economical car for them to drive. Post pics when you get a chance !

2007 Vibe owner here as well! The first-gen models are definitely beginning to show their age, but they're still great reliable cars that are fun to drive!
