proper rotation

Post by ribompa »

I bought a used 2010 AWD Vibe with 17"wheels, and recently had new non directional tires installed. I am planning on a rotation of front tires to the rear staying on the same side, and rears crossing to the front. Thoughts and opinions?

Welcome to genvibe!

The correct tire rotation pattern for a 2010 AWD Vibe is front to rear, rear to front, same side.

The tread depth is also important. Check to see that they are all pretty close, otherwise they can eventually damage the AWD system over time.

Welcome to GenVibe! I use front to back, back to front staying on the same sides with our directional summer tires and non-directional winter all seasons. Been doing this since we got our 09 GTs brand new. 68,xxx miles on both and no problems with uneven tire wear or anything like that.

Post some pictures of your "new" Vibe when you get a chance ;)!
