Welcome! You came to the right spot for info, for sure. I guess if you've looked around on here you know your car will "self destruct" at 299,999 KM, right? Well, I mean the odometer will stop working!

the odometer actually stops working at 299999? lol

its a one owner car. well maintained. there is a clunking noise in the front when i go over bumps. im guessing its the stabilizer links. im going to have a look this week

the vibe isnt anything special. she has fog lights which i love. has a intake mani gasket leak i gotta do this weekend. easy job.

My clunking noise was a bad front wheel bearing. Replaced it last week, all is silent now.

I have a feeling it is a wheel bearing. i checked the links and theyre good. it hums with i turn left. so im assuming my right hub is going. ill change that this weekend.

I dont want to press a new bearing in. so im going to just swap out the whole hub. ive done engine swaps on cars and turbo installs. never a hub haha

Steps i think are for taking the hub off

loosen axle nut
raise car and remove wheel
remove caliper
remove rotor
3 bolts behind the hub need to come out. then that will allow u to slide the old hub out

replace with new hub
and put everything back

My old car was a heavy modified honda prelude
stanced. supercharger. nitrous. leather interior swap. full engine build. so going from that to this is a change. i deff like how the vibe has so much room. but going from over 400hp to 140, sucks. but a tank of gas city driving gets me 500kms. im not complaining

The vibe had an available supercharger when it first came out...might be a solution to add some more ponies. (From 130 to 180'ish)
I've always wondered if it was worth the trouble...any input from SupCharged owners maybe? Reliability? Gas consumption?

Welcome, I'm new here too, but I've owned an '06 Matrix since new and just bought an '06 Vibe. They are great, reliable and functional little cars.

As to the Audi, I've been neck deep in a few of those too. I don't envy you. I just did a timing belt on an A6 and I was in awe of how complicated the job was. The necessary tool kit is for sale if you are interested.
