New here

Post by 2010VibeIN »

I recently bought a 2010 Vibe Base model 2.4L Automatic. Has 132,000 miles on it but runs like new. Was well taken care of and mostly highway miles.Got a good deal on it.
I had a 2003 Vibe which I totaled back in Dec 2011 (picture below) and wanted another ever since. I was looking at a few different Vibes but went with the 2010. If I didn't buy it,I had my eye on a 2005 with AWD and 80,000 miles but they were wanting to much for it and the dealer kept changing things up on price so that kind of scared me away from that car, along with the fact it needed new tires and windshield.
I am pretty happy with my 2010 and I get lots of compliments on it.There aren't to many 2009-2010 Vibes in my area.

When I said totaled,I meant it. It had 120,000 miles on it when I wrecked it. I had it for 4 years and almost paid off. Me and my kids walked away with no injuries except a few scrapes from the airbags.I hit a 1986 Ford F250 at 30MPH.It was dark and raining hard and he stopped way to fast for me to react.

Welcome to GenVibe!

That's one nice looking 2010.

I am glad you all came out of that wreck alright. Just don't make it a habit! ;)

Welcome to GenVibe!

I have similar pictures from when I totaled my '95 Dodge Neon. I was going through a stale green light when a woman in an S-10 Blazer made a left turn in front of me. Hit her head on going about 45. No time to stop. Walked away with no injuries, except for a good gash on my hand from the airbag that pushed it out through the side window. Picked glass shards out of hand for months after that.

I hope I don't wreck this one. I really like how it handles and how fun the car is to drive.
I went through and changed my interior lights to blue LED ones. Doesn't look to bad.
It is blue but the picture makes it look more purple then blue. They are a lot brighter then the stock bulbs that were in there.

I had a 2003 PT Cruiser, worst car I ever owned and then a Ford Crown Vic which went when I got the new Vibe. What can I say,I knew what I was buying when I got another Vibe since my 1st one was probably the best car I owned,I figured I would give it another shot. Hasn't disappointed me yet. The problem I have is going to fast in it. I caught myself doing 90 on the highway Saturday and didn't even feel like I was going that fast.No wonder I was passing everyone up lol.

I had this happen to me! the day I drove it home it was such a difference from my Jimmy. I felt like i was going 50, but I look at the speedometer and it was at 80.
