Rear Child Safety lock repair Vibe or Matrix

While fixing a few things on my 2nd hand Vibe made a video for anyone that may need to complete the same repair to the rear child safety lockout. (Especially those in the frozen north). From what I gather the 2003 - 2010 Vibes used the same assembly. The Toyota Matrix also used the same setup. I was amazed at how easily the items came apart, a very simple design, no special tools needed, unless you have to remove the entire assembly.
