122K Miles, Zero Problems

Post by gtots »

My Base '04 has 122K miles and coming up on its 9th year of faithful service with zero problems (never had something fail, just routine maintenance)! Best car I've ever owned as far as reliability is concerned.

Welcome to GenVibe! Glad to hear you've had such great luck with your Vibe! You're definitely not alone. There are members here who have 200,000, 300,000, even 400,000+ miles on their Vibes without any major issues. Give us some more info on your trusty Vibe i.e. color, transmission, mods, etc. Better yet... post some pictures. We love pictures around here ;)!

Awesome news !!! :D This was exactly the reason that I bought my 2009 Vibe GT new and it will be around for 20+ years if I have my way. Thanks for sharing this positive news with us fellow GenVibers ;)

My 2009 has 109,000 on the clock, and runs like a sewing machine. High mileage yes, but well taken care of. The engine is clean as a pin inside. It should be around for another 109,000. So they are well built. I couldn't be happier. :)

mine is an 06 with 128k miles. the only problems i have had were the MAF went bad, o2 sensor on the exhaust manifold, i think thats bank 1, and then had the recall issue. hell... i drove my car with that recall issue for over 50k miles before i finally got it fixed. the car still keeps pumpin and moving hard!

congrats man!

My '05 AWD has 72K miles on it and the rubber coating is coming off the radio buttons.

I'm pretty much devastated w/this obvious lack of quality. Keeps me up at night...thinking about what else might go wrong over the next ~75,000 miles.

If you think the rubber coating coming off the radio knobs is bad, try a VW Beetle where whole interior is coated in that stuff. You can't fix it either. I lived with this for 3 1/2 years. A new head unit would be a fix. :)
