WOW I am amazed at the mileage you guys are at. I got my Vibe from the wife November 06 with about 86,000 I now have 94,400 but the vibe will now get driven in the winter.
Vibe is gone and will be missed as I've gone country style
I'm at approximately 121,000 on my 2009 Vibe GT I have a 120 mile roundtrip commute to work M-F, plus 2-3 trips a month for school 2 hours away and back. It's still running like a champ (which is good, because I still have about $7,000 left on my bank loan!)...
I've got just a few thousand more miles before 100,000 miles. Amazing to think that I bought it at 78k. At the current rate of racking up miles I assume I'll hit 100,000 either late this year or early next year. If I go to Erie I'll for sure be hitting 100k before 2013.
Welcome to the club! I've been here since the Holidays of 2011! Time to do a tune up and basic service but the VW is hogging the garage and I don't feel like working in the driveway in the Winter (even though it's been a VERY mild Winter).Dave
I'm at 116,000 miles on my '03 Vibe. Bought it in December '04 for $10,300 as a sophomore in college with about 40,000 miles on it. No major repairs needed yet, knock on wood. Replaced a belt tensioner, flipped the gear on the return air to fix the clicking noise, replaced a couple of motor mounts, A/C maintenance, and will need new brake pads on my next oil change. Other than that, I just stay up on my oil changes, filters, and check my fluids. It was just in the shop for a tune up and she was all good with no problems. Been such a great car for road trips, round town, and out on the highway. Everyone fights over who gets to ride in the Vibe on two car trips cause the backseat floorboard is so much deeper than 90% of the cars out today. So much more comfortable than most cars that feel like they were built for midgets or amputees. I love it. She's been paid off for awhile now and she's all mine. I'm going to keep her till she goes to the big junkyard in the sky.
Thanks Blueridge9! I love my Vibe. It's been such a great looking and reliable car. It's a shame Pontiac is no more, otherwise I would probably buy only Vibes for the rest of my life. P.S. I love that review quote on your signature. That sums up the Vibe perfectly.
