I'm just now discovering this site and the evidently numerous happy Vibe owners all around the country. I've been a proud and happy Vibe owner since February 2003. That's when I took delivery of my Neptune Vibe (base, 5-speed MT, Moon & Tunes, power everything, alloy wheels). Easily the best car I have owned and my first wagon. Now, I no longer want to have a sedan. The wagon is much more functional and it is a shame that station wagons have mostly disappeared from the automotive horizon. This vehicle has been good to me. 111,200 miles and counting! No problems, though my CD player has just decided to rebel and not release the two it currently holds nor will it take any addtional CDs nor play the ones it already has. But that poor CD player has been used on nearly every outing with the vehicle for the past 7.5 years so i can't complain.
I was one of the early 2001 PT Cruiser owners so that was my first intro to car owner discussion groups. When I bought my 2003 Vibe in Jan. 2003 I knew to seek out a similar group for Vibe owners. Sold my 2003 and bought a new 2009 in early 2009. One very tangible benefit - info here got me a new set of tires on the 2003 at 20,000 miles to replace 4 badly cupped ones when I learned of a TSB on those OEM Continentals. Lots of other good info as well, and a lot of "entertainment" along the way. The Vibe group is somewhat less confrontational than the PT Cruiser group.

Welcome! It's a great site! I found it while trying to find info about my Vibe. It's at 106,000 and still running strong .
