PCH road trip from Vernon to Anaheim!!!

Post by star_deceiver »

Leaving May 14th. Leaving Anaheim on either the 21st or 22nd.It's our 2nd year aniversary (yes, we survived) so she wants to spend it at the happiest place on earth. We're doing the same drive down (relativly) as we did 2 years ago when we got married in Vegas. Hwy 101 and 1. 5 days at Disneyland and 1 at Six Flags.http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d...h&z=5 And with any luck, there will be very little I-5 driving, either way!!!

Looks like an awesome trip, Ryan. One I'd like to take one day. I bet it was cool driving thru the Redwoods.

Great road trip! Great pictures. Only 5880 kilometers that come out to a mere 3,653.7 miles. You should have kept gas receipts to figure out exact mpgs for the entire trip!! So now you have to go do it again.

I was told several times to stop taking pics of the car and more of her/us lol!!!Quote, originally posted by vibolista »Great road trip! Great pictures. Oh well, maybe next time! The cheapest gas I filled up with was $2.75/gal in Bellingham, Wa. The most expensive was $3.20/gal although one place I saw was selling at $3.60/gal. Not bad considering it's $1.049/L here!

I hear that's one of the most expensive ways to processl oil into gasoline. Hope you have a super light feather weight accelerator foot! But then I consider what we are currently paying: $2.79/gallon US pretty darned expensive, anyway. I bought gasoline for 17 cents a gallon in Boulder, Colorado and Tampa, Florida, back in 1971!!!!! And some how, the Oil Companies were still managing to make an ample profit back then. Hmmm?!?

Hope you have a super light feather weight accelerator foot! I'm no overly sure as to where our gas comes from but Alberta would be my best guess. And no, I don't....The cheapest gas I ever put into any car was in Coeur D'alene, Id for $1.39/gal back before the recession. Most expensive was filling up in Vancouver, BC for $1.479/L ($5.59/gal with dollar at par) during the oil gouging a few years ago... Welcome to BC (Bring Cash)!!!
