Its under the car and it just twists off. And I don't remember the filter number.
welcome to genvibe. That should be the right filter for the base engine. Cross references to the purolator 14476, which is what I've been using. I assu,e you have the base, or 1ZZ engine because GM never sold a supercharger for the GT 2ZZ engine. The filters just screw off, standard right hand threads. Could be easy or hard, depending on how long it's been on there and how tight it was put on. You probably need some sort of oil filter wrench, several different types out there. I keep using the purolator filter because I've a a 3/8" drive end cap "socket" that fits over the end of the filter, makes it real easy to get them off, put the new one on 3/4 turn past contact.
2004 Vibe oil filters:STP Oil Filter S4967FRAM Part # PH4967BOSCH Part # 3311K&N Oil Filter HP-1003 A/C Delco Part Number: PF1233Just some of the many filters. You should always look up the right oil filter for your Vibe at the parts store. Looks like your STP Oil filter S4967 is the right one. Welcome to the Vibe forum!

give me the time and place to be for the indy meet and i shall try to be there...i would like to go because i have no idea how and where to begin to mod the 2004 supercharged vibe because i've been busy modding my tiburon and the vibe i purchased for the wife and now she has the modding bug! she wants to get some lowering springs and darker tint and i wouldn't mind getting a stage 2 pulley if they even exist?

Awesome wife you have there She's definitely a keeper My wife is the total opposite, thus any mods I do are kept from her until finished. Then she notices them and thinks they are OEM parts of the car. She's not even a Blonde either
yeah the wife really didn't understand it at first but once she saw my tiburon transform she was hooked...plus i pay all of the bills and anything i have left to mod with i do lol...
Nice Looks like you have the upper hand Don't EVER lose it! I 'm in the same situation.... carry the family financially and try to put some $$$ aside for toys/mods & more. Depending on what I have "up my sleeve" I may or may not inform the wife I think it's a GUY thing
