09 remote lock chirp

doesnt this car have the option of chirping the horn or beeping when I lock the doors? all I get is the turn signals flashing?

Nope, only the lights flashing. Although GMJAP did make something to add it to the car. See this thread:

I wish it had it also so you can hear it lock as you are walking away.

there's a kit from
http://www.kptechnologies.com that can be installed on any car...it's a kit that will give off an electronic beep sound when you lock/unlock the doors. very similar to the toyota/lexus ones. i had it on my previous car so i might get it for this car too.
