The exact minimum of bells and whistles I'll be looking for. Assume you got the "optional" air conditioning. 1.8L engine?

Are you embarrassed to have been listening to the 70s channel on XM? Just curious as to why you blacked it out...LOL.Nice car...I like it. I think I like not having a car payment better, but if I ended up having to get one, I would probably go for this.

i didn't black anything out on the radio, its like taking a picture of a computer screen.. it couldn't capture the digital image correctly and yea, its a 1.8L not 2.4I do have a question though for previous Vibe owners.. were the dashboard speedometer, and gauges completely backlit like they are in the 2009?when the car is off its totally black, and fully illuminated when on

There's no steering wheel mounted controls - is that an option on the 2009?

I love it! Congratulations. Now, be the first one in Florida or the world maybe to get nice looking 18 or 19 inch wheels.I think the body is kinda beefy for the small wheel wells so if you get bigger wheels it will look breathe taking. Just like the Vibe I drive now, I absolutely hated the new design (I hate the Vibe altogether until I sat in one in person back in 2002) but now that I've seen it in person at the NAIAS I looooove the new style I still do not like that shifter and gear arrangement AT ALL though. Love the gauges.BTW...82 degrees? You have a brand new car, and it's 82 degrees...you should be in ecstasy. I woke up to ice on EVERYTHING this morning and 20 degree temps

Congrats. Very Nice. I just bought a new 08'. This is my first 4-banger car, and Im loving it. I am used to big v8's. I own a 70' chevelle SS. Thats the car that only comes out of the cave once a month or so. I like the 09'. Im undecided on the dash and the tailights. The body has very nice lines. The tail lights are a little to "ricey" for me but hey, im used to chevelles and vettes, what can I say?

Interesting about those wheel covers, I noticed that too. That's about the only thing carryover from the last model huh? What's the car look like inside at night? What color does all the stuff light up in, is it still red? Looked like it may not have been on a pic I saw on pontiac's site. Just one of those goofy things I'm curious about. Anyway, it is growing on me. Except for the oval area in the gauges, is that hard to see from the driver's seat? The price isn't too terrible for the stuff you get. If I was going to buy one it would be equipped just like yours is, has all the stuff you need and nothing you don't. Don't have a desire for things like a leaky, rattling sunroof and fog lights are pretty much worthless anyway. I don't have either on the car I have now and really don't miss them at all.
