the first one in my area i have been told. Could of drove it home tonight, but needed to bring back my trade in.Its Silver Platinum, Preferred Package, AutomaticI'll post some pics as soon as i pick it up!
The exact minimum of bells and whistles I'll be looking for. Assume you got the "optional" air conditioning. 1.8L engine?

they also had a black GT there...Yea, got the optional AC, lol... and the upgraded stereo. basically everything i was looking for.I also didn't know it comes standard with a 115v power inverter, so i can plug in a laptop or houshold AC wall outlet plugs.. very coolI will have some pics up tomorrow!!
very nice, congrats, they had a red '09 GT on the front of this flyer from the newspaper it looked really good, just the angle they had and the color lines and all this stuff
Ok, i just got home from the dealer with the first sold 2009 Vibe in Florida!! At least thats what the dealer told me. Here are the first pics i took. Please feel free to ask me any questions!
sweeet, can you get some pics of the engine?hmm must be the 1.8l I think the 2.4 has the triptronic shifting that you can do. Is there a OD button to turn if off?
Are you embarrassed to have been listening to the 70s channel on XM? Just curious as to why you blacked it out...LOL.Nice car...I like it. I think I like not having a car payment better, but if I ended up having to get one, I would probably go for this.
i didn't black anything out on the radio, its like taking a picture of a computer screen.. it couldn't capture the digital image correctly and yea, its a 1.8L not 2.4I do have a question though for previous Vibe owners.. were the dashboard speedometer, and gauges completely backlit like they are in the 2009?when the car is off its totally black, and fully illuminated when on

agreed, specially dont like how theirs no glass hatch...i always use mine to get stuff out, unless it's big or heavy then i use the full hatch.the back looks to plain to me
where are the fog lights and the sun roof... your in FL... you should have a sun roof... geeze it's feb and it's reading 82 deg. outside... lol I do have a few questionsfirst the tie down rails that are in current vibes are they under those rubber covers in the 09, version? Are the headlights separate high and low beams ... two bulbs?I do like that it does have a middle headrest on the second row of seats

I love it! Congratulations. Now, be the first one in Florida or the world maybe to get nice looking 18 or 19 inch wheels.I think the body is kinda beefy for the small wheel wells so if you get bigger wheels it will look breathe taking. Just like the Vibe I drive now, I absolutely hated the new design (I hate the Vibe altogether until I sat in one in person back in 2002) but now that I've seen it in person at the NAIAS I looooove the new style I still do not like that shifter and gear arrangement AT ALL though. Love the gauges.BTW...82 degrees? You have a brand new car, and it's 82 degrees...you should be in ecstasy. I woke up to ice on EVERYTHING this morning and 20 degree temps

Congrats. Very Nice. I just bought a new 08'. This is my first 4-banger car, and Im loving it. I am used to big v8's. I own a 70' chevelle SS. Thats the car that only comes out of the cave once a month or so. I like the 09'. Im undecided on the dash and the tailights. The body has very nice lines. The tail lights are a little to "ricey" for me but hey, im used to chevelles and vettes, what can I say?
nice chevelle ITTRay, should post up more pics of your vibe in the garage section and post alot of pics of the chevelle there too we'd all love to see it
Nice car. Keep us posted on the gas mileage.I suppose that it shouldn't be much (if any) different than the older models, but it did get a little bit heavier.
yea, for being plastic they actually look pretty good. and they match the color of the car perfectly.Going to take some pics of the engine today, so look out for those later!you guys wanna see anything else?
Interesting about those wheel covers, I noticed that too. That's about the only thing carryover from the last model huh? What's the car look like inside at night? What color does all the stuff light up in, is it still red? Looked like it may not have been on a pic I saw on pontiac's site. Just one of those goofy things I'm curious about. Anyway, it is growing on me. Except for the oval area in the gauges, is that hard to see from the driver's seat? The price isn't too terrible for the stuff you get. If I was going to buy one it would be equipped just like yours is, has all the stuff you need and nothing you don't. Don't have a desire for things like a leaky, rattling sunroof and fog lights are pretty much worthless anyway. I don't have either on the car I have now and really don't miss them at all.
