GV5: Where are you now?

Post by ragingfish »

I decided that I want to run with my idea for the GV5 event. This is a thread for all members - past and present - to post pictures of themselves with their Vibe, and if they've moved on, their current ride. I think it'll be cool to see where we were then, and where we are now.I'll start:My 2003 Vibe on delivery day - 10/19/2002Me with my 2006 G6 GT Coupe, back in January

HAHA I like this idea.Back in 2003 sometime. I had a few things done: grills, window vinyl, calipers, stuff like that but I can't find the pictures of the car when it was bone stock. Now, 2007 and also my Taurus and my Ninja now added to the family:

Then, there was Marcie again, a few years later, with a few minor modifications but not much...I still her and plan to keep her for a while.

I know your post said pictures of me with the car, but I can't do it. I can't find my tripod, dangit... All is well though, we really don't want any more pictures of me than what is really necessary. Back in the day when it was new:I like what the car represents and will always have a soft spot in my for it for obvious reasons.... But the car itself, I can't say I miss. Its replacement, my trusty lil' '06 Hyundai Accent GLS. I likes it 'cuz it just needs gas and the occasional oil change. It takes all my crap for 3,000 miles a month and doesn't complain.

I haven't logged in for a while, but still on lurk on a regular basis. I traded my Fusion Orange '04 Vibe GT for a Chili Pepper Red '06 Saturn Vue Red Line on June 28, 2006. I miss the manual tranny, but love the V6 in the Vue.

Quote, originally posted by NewNeptune »What happened to your hubcaps?Aw, that's nothing...at least Nascar's steelies are all the same!! I REGULARLY see people driving with mismatched wheelcovers OR RIMS! Or driving fast on their temporary spares. Yesterday I saw one of those rav4 type cars (with the spare attached on the tail gate) it's attached spare tire was SHREDDED. Now why drive around with-and reattach-the shredded spare on the tailgate??!!

Man, i grew up riding, quit for YEARS, picked it back up a few years ago and it BLEW my mind, i live 5min from a KILLER park that i RIPPED up all the time... It was me and Jim Cielencki of Kink and Odyessey fame were the oldest riders at the park..!!! That was back in 03'I don't have ANYPLACE to ride anymore, no parks that is, i never liked street riding much and riding alone just sucks.. I was a HUGE flatlander when i was a kid to... You would be interested in a bike would you?? I got a Killer S&M PBR... I have an Aluminum GT Power Series as well, for race fun...
