Update: I've been having numerous issues with Frappr!, the latest being that several pushpins seem to be missing. One count shows 197 pushpins total (4 are for events), but I only see 126 pushpins total (in administrative review). My own pushpin at the matrixowners map seems to have gone missing as well. I don't know what to make of it, but if you do have a pushpin at Frappr!, please check to make sure it's there. If not, IM me so I can get on it.
Yea, mine is missing, as well as others I know in my area. Looks like they redesigned the site, and flubbed up.

Yep, Baltovibe, your member/pushpin is missing from my list as well.I received a reply from Frappr...only the last 100 added pushpins will display on the map. This, to me, is a value-subtracted feature.I've sent them a lengthy reply, not only addressing the specific issue of missing pushpins, but the broader issue of the reduction of features and adninistrative controls. It's a free service, yes, but I'm disappointed and nonplussed at the state of the site. If these issues aren't resolved, I may consider pulling the map, but will confer with you all before taking any action.

MY pushpin is missing! However my photo is still in the photo section. Also my pushpin will soon need to move to a new spot on the map. Am i able to move it once i place it or should i just replace it in the new location?
I'm still there, but then I'm relatively new to GenVibe. I don't see it as being very useful, other than a convenient visual way to see where GenVibe members are located; i.e. those that enroll in Frapper. Searching the GV User file is much more useful when trying to find or learn about other members.

Frappr! admin folks have been very attentive and helpful and we've restored some of the "legacy" pushpins. There are now 179 members on the site. Unfortunately, we still can only see the most recent 100 pushpins, which IMO is not helpful.I'd love to work with the Google API can see if we could develop our own map. Our membership size is small enough where it shouldn't be too slow.I'm gonna troll the web for other sites that use the API and see if I can figure out something. I've never worked with it before, so there's a learning curve. If anyone else has some experience, I'd be glad to defer to you.

Hey Glenn,Are you able to remove the pushpin of my location in Wisconsin? I'm unable to do so...I already have a pushpin for my new location in Texas.Thanx
I just joined the site and I am definitely going to adertise. Im from Rochester and theyre all over the place. most are plain ole go getter cars though.wont be able to log in to frappr til later this week though. work computer cant handle it
Try re-submitting your pushpin again; I usually have to approve new pushpins and don't see any to approve.Admittedly, Frappr hasn't been updating their application to my liking. I have made several requests to fix our group (ex. lots of inactive members, many members not visible on map) and to no avail.
Yep. It was fun for a while, but after it got sold to Platial, things went down south. They did contact me at the end of 2009 and allowed me to save an archive file that supposedly has all our data, but I'm not sure. The KML looks okay, but I'm not sure if everybody is in there. Plus, I have no idea how to edit or publish that file so that it's usable here. The KML file only has about a hundred of the members' data. Lots of blank pushpins and none of our vehicle data was saved (ex. Base, GT, AWD). However, most member avitars and comments were saved, so there's that.I will try to clean it up some and stick a copy somewhere y'all can use it.Anyone know the Google API? Maybe we could use that to get a map going again.
I'm just starting to do some work within the Google API for a client.... maybe one of these days when I know what I'm doing I can help out (after I do those other photoshop things I promised other members, lol............. *hides*)

Heya;http://www.zeemaps.com/This is an interface to use Google generated maps in a manner similar to Frappr.I'm using it to create member location maps for use by the POCs for an organization to which I belong.
