Vibe newbie checking in

Post by WVRedneck »

Hey folks! Just checking in. I picked up an `03 in the Shadow flavor yesterday. I found this one with 19K on the clock and it still smells new.I 'converted' from an F-150 that was on it's last leg for the safety, and economy of this car. We have a little one that will be here next month and I need something I could feel safe toting him around in.This looks like the place to be for Vibe info, and I look forward to talking with you all about this cool little ride.Anyway, I am from the western end of WV(hence my screen name), I am an avid R/C racer, and very much into ATV's. Arrgh, enough about me, I sound like I am writing a personal ad.

Wow, thanks folks.ArcsVibe, I took a couple yesterday and will post them up somewhere. It's nothing special.DaddyVibeMI- Yeah, it is still under factory warranty, and I got another 72 month warranty with it that seems to cover pretty much anything.TRD4reel- This one is an auto. I prefer a manual tranny, but my wife can't drive one.

Ooh. It's okay. My mom wanted a stick cuz she was too "lazy" to drive a stick. I tried and tried, but nothing convinced her. So, I had the Vibe auto for a year and a half and now I have this car that is in my sig.Inder

Welcome Reneck,I just trade in my 03 Shadow Vibe for a grand spanking new 05 Salsa Vibe.I liked the Shadow but man do I love the Salsa. When I picked up my shadow it had 52000 miles on it and that was in July last year so you did get really good miledge in that one. I just traded the shadow with 68700 miles on it. I travel a lot so it was important for me to get a car with really low miledge. The salsa was given to me with 75 mile on it. Hehehe
