I don't know about Minnesota, but Indiana and Illinois got the shaft earlier this month due to refinery capacity. Or should I say, lack thereof...KITT222 wrote:What the heck is going on!?

Ouch girl I just filled up this morning (Friday) for $3.08 in my work Van. It's been dropping roughly 5 cents every day. We're due for another 50 cents or more spikevibenvy wrote: Down another $0.01 to $3.74.
As always, there's no reasonable explanation for the sudden increase. It was down around $3.20 or so back around the time of the Pontiac meet, but shortly after the meet, it skyrocketed within a few days and has only been dropping a penny or two every week it seems like . I always think "it could be worse" though. It's well over $4.00 in the city of Chicago, so even though it's high out in this area compared to other places, I know there are places nearby where it's way higher than it is around here. Heck, start driving east from Sandwich and you can see the gas prices rise the further east you get .tpollauf wrote:Ouch girl I just filled up this morning (Friday) for $3.08 in my work Van.
